Starman did blow our minds...

Sadly, a few days ago Mr David Bowie finished his current earthly course. An inspiration, pioneer and influence in so many fields. There's probably nothing we could add to what's already been posted across the globe. Our respects to you Mr Bowie, and thanks. You've journeyed from a Starman blowing our minds to once again an Absolute Beginner.

And, of course, we have no authority to create the charming gif below but we hope it's a fitting homage.

Sharing is Caring

If you visit the site regularly you'll probably notice that we don't blog quite the same as many other sites. Our main blog is our free music lessons. If you are into music - any genre - then check it out. It's quite demanding to constantly come up with posts for that.

However, we're active in many other things and we lead a fairly active social life. Well, social media anyway. With that in mind we're happy to have had two of of twitter shares end up in other people's webpages. Okay, okay, we didn't write the article in 'the guardian', but sharing is caring, right. When you find something cool, interesting, unusual, gorgeous you want to share. That's not just online that's in the real world too. So, the team here at Rockbadger Productions is happy that others have thought the content we found interesting and shared was worth sharing with others.

Here's the two latest shares.

Five Way Work Will Change in the Future

The Visual Marketing Daily

And, we're pretty health conscious here at Rockbadger Productions. Sure, we're always working on a new design (or trying to level up) but taking care of yourself pretty important too. So, here's a picture of yours truly hitting the local pool on a Sunday afternoon. Ah, refreshing. Can you tell I don't get out in the sun much? Now... to level up!

Change of Seasons

Hi there. Well, you may notice that this blog page isn't like other blogs. We don't exactly churn out a heap of blogs about life, the universe and everything here. There's a simple reason for that - our daily music lesson. It takes quite a bit of effort to put up a new music lesson everyday. It's quite demanding actually. And, we try to keep on track with that except when things like holidays or the internet being down interfere. But, what are you going to do??

Anyway... to help show that we are always active in some way we though we'd give you a sneak peak of what we have been doing now. Shown here is a frame extracted from a short documentary piece we are involved in with the goal of submission to film festivals. See that snake? That's the Eastern Brown Snake. It's the second most venomous snake on the planet, and responsible for the most deaths in Australia. So, guess who's been filming it. Yup, your friendly team from Rockbadger Productions with assistance from the guys at Snakes Are Us.

Oh, and we also did get some footage of most venomous snakes #3 (Coastal Taipan) and #1 (Inland Taipan). That's the three most venomous snakes in the word. And, just to keep that adrenaline up none of them are passive snakes. They know they are bad and not afraid to go a few rounds of tag. Like you can see below. How close do we get? Pretty damn close! There's no other option to get that good shot.

Wookie Chieftain Tarfful

Check out this super cool, personally autographed, official Star Wars picture for Rockbadger Productions by Michael Kingma. Michael played Wookie Chieftain Tarfful in Revenge of the Sith. A big thanks to Oz, event co-ordinator, at Haven Pop-Culture Event for surprising me with this one when I couldn't make it to Haven due to conflicting schedules. Such is life. The name is intentionally blurred here as it is a personalized picture.

Check out heaps of cool Haven Pop Culture Expo stuff.
